Roofing Repair and Replacement

Here in the northwest, wind and rain can challenge any roofing materials. Both proper installation and upkeep are essential in protection against weather and the elements. Keeping your roof in great shape is one of the biggest priorities you have as a homeowner. However, no matter how much care and maintenance your roofing receives it will eventually need to be replaced. We Owens Corning Certified to offer you the best warranties in the business!

  • Bare Spots: as asphalt hardens overtime, it’s protective gradual service starts to wear off. This creates bare spots on the shingles. You may notice the granules collecting in your gutters.
  • Curling: If shingles start to curl upward,  they can become highly susceptible to wind and ice damage.
  • Broken Shingles: Heavy winds can cause serious damage to your home’s shingles. Shingles need to be able to adequately shed water.  Any broken, torn, or missing tabs can become entry points for water. Damaged shingles can leave your home vulnerable to costly damage.
  • Moss Buildup: Left untreated, the clumpy greenery can cause virtually any roofing material to degrade—most commonly wood and asphalt, but also metal, clay, and concrete—and thus drastically shorten its lifespan.

Question: Should you Repair your roof or Replace it?

If the damage is limited to a few spots but overall the roof still looked good; we may be able to repair the issue and leave the rest of the roof intact. It's always best to have these issues done quickly before any leaks occur and if leaking is occuring: getting the issue resolved is even more important as dry rot will occur.

If your roof is nearing the 20 year mark - it may simply be time to tear off and replace.

"My roofing project was a complex, several dormers and a high pitch on my two-story tudor home. Tomas and his crew came through for my wife and I and were totally thrilled with the results. Thanks!"
